Hip-Hop On L.O.C.K.
Hip-Hop On L.O.C.K., an award-winning arts education program in Pittsburgh, PA, wanted to gain support of its award-winning programming, including the Waffle Wopp, which is a biweekly show led by high school students, that was being threatened with closing by a lack of funding.
Kennedy Blue Communications initiated a media campaign in the regional media that clearly communicated the value of the program to students and parents. As a result, the Waffle Wopp and other Hip-Hop On L.O.C.K. programs were covered in regional media outlets increasing its visibility and justifying its value to its supporters and donors.
Local Pittsburgh news channel KDKA features the Waffle Wopp.
